Mapfre’s sustainable investing boutique appoints new executive chair

The Spanish insurance giant has had a stake in La Financière Responsable since 2017.

Thierry Chesneau has been appointed as the new executive chair of La Financière Responsable (LFR), Mapfre group’s France-based sustainable investing subsidiary.

This follows the retirement of its co-founder and previous executive chair, Olivier Johanet, who remains a shareholder and member of its governance board.
