I’ve had three related careers – journalism, corporate communications and PR consultancy. working across politics, financial services and asset management. In doing so I’ve advised everyone from c-suite level executives to junior managers on their communication requirements with a never-ending focus of having the media and the end customer in mind.

I’m a freelance public relations consultant with a passion for all things creative. Coming from a background in audio production I found that public relations opened the door for me into other areas of technical work such as video production and video editing.
Having obtained the CFA investment foundations certificate and a CIPR degree level qualification, I'm now focusing on helping boutique asset managers develop their profile and manage their reputation in the UK and throughout Europe.
Director of Media Relations and Editorial
Responsible for pr, communications and editorial services on behalf of clients. Jonathan brings over 20 years of B2B publishing experience delivering content across digital, print and events platforms in the asset management industry across the UK and Europe, with a further 5 years of corporate and public affairs editorial experience across Japan, Australia, and Canada. Personal background includes living, studying, working in nine countries and bilingualism (English/Swedish). Currently pursuing IMC II and the IAM Advanced Rider motorcycle course, while building a collection of fly fishing rods.
My career as a programme planner in the independent television industry sparked an interest in communications which led to a foray in academia at the School of Journalism Studies, Cardiff. Having brought up a family I was then looking to make a contribution to Fortuna and so have brought my planning skills to bear on the financial aspects of the business.
I’m a Chilean national who came to the UK through marriage to a businessman. Having left behind a career in marketing I’ve had been looking for a fulfilling role and found a part time one with Fortuna and its need for someone to help coordinate complex processes for communicating between a client and their ‘publics’ – which is at the heart of public relations.
