Investing.com -- As Donald Trump returns to the White House, the global financial and political spotlight intensifies, but emerging markets (EM) are not simply at the mercy of U.S. policy, according to Aubrey Capital Management's John Ewart.

Ewart said in a note that “the GEM region did not stand still during the last two US presidential terms,” with robust domestic and intra-regional economic dynamics continuing to drive growth.
