21 March 2022.
Mr. KIM provides leadership in the strategy development and execution of the Group’s exchange-traded fund (ETF) business. At the same time, he assists with the sales initiatives for Korea. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. KIM reports to the Group’s President, Ms. June WONG.
Mr. KIM has extensive experience in the ETF industry, with a solid track record in product development and strategy, as well as portfolio management on ETFs and quantitative products. During his career, he has worked in both Hong Kong and Seoul. Previously, he was Deputy Head of Quantitative Investment Department at CSOP Asset Management in Hong Kong. He helped the firm establish a series of new products, which have become the most popularly traded ETFs on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Before joining CSOP, he served as the Head of ETF Investment Team at Korea Investment Management in Korea, responsible for the firm’s ETF business, covering portfolio management, new product launches, and business development.

Mr. Hyung Do KIM is Senior Director, Head of ETF Business and Korea Sales of Value Partners. He provides leadership in the strategy development and execution of the Group’s exchange-traded fund (ETF) business. At the same time, he assists with the sales initiatives for Korea.
Mr. KIM has over 17 years of experience in the ETF industry, with a solid track record in product development and strategy, as well as portfolio management on ETFs and quantitative products. During his career, he has worked in both Hong Kong and Seoul. Prior to joining Value Partners, he was Deputy Head of Quantitative Investment Department at CSOP Asset Management in Hong Kong. He helped the firm establish a series of new products, which have become the most popularly traded ETFs on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr. KIM holds a Master’s Degree in International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, both from Yonsei University in Korea. He is a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”).
