(Hong Kong, 21 February 2022) – Value Partners Group Limited (together with its subsidiaries, “Value Partners” or “the Group”, Hong Kong Stock Code: 806) today announces the appointment of Ms. Ellen TSANG as Managing Director, Head of Marketing and Communications, effective 21 February 2022.
Ms. TSANG is responsible for the overall marketing and communications function of the Group. She will take charge of the Group’s branding, marketing, corporate communications and investor relations. Ms. TSANG is based in Hong Kong, and she reports to the Group’s President, Ms. June WONG.
Ms. TSANG was formerly Head of Marketing for Asia ex-Japan at State Street Global Advisors. With over 20 years of marketing experience, she had assumed leadership roles in the marketing and corporate communications functions of various asset managers, including abrdn (formerly known as Aberdeen Standard), Amundi and Pictet. Before that, she also served fund distributors, including BCT Group and YF Life (formerly known as MassMutual).

Ms. Ellen TSANG is Managing Director, Head of Marketing and Communications, of Value Partners. She is responsible for the overall marketing function of the Group, devising strategies and overseeing initiatives including branding, marketing, corporate communications and investor relations.
Ms. TSANG joined Value Partners in February 2022. She was most recently with State Street Global Advisors as Head of Marketing for Asia ex-Japan. With over 20 years of marketing experience, she had assumed leadership roles in the marketing and corporate communications functions of various asset managers, including abrdn (formerly known as Aberdeen Standard), Amundi and Pictet. Before that, she also served fund distributors including BCT Group and YF Life (formerly known as MassMutual).
Ms. TSANG graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from the Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom. She is currently a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
