Among the insights into Brexit put forward at the latest Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry Global Distribution Conference 2021, was the idea that Luxembourg Sicavs still have a place in the UK market, even where there may have been a decision to switch on an Oeic range for the UK market. However, in terms of big picture relations, it was also an event that saw comment around additional regulatory moves towards convergence, with the implication of further distancing from the UK.
