A quiet part of England could hold the key to Brexit related developments over the coming year; this after a significant rebellion of some 100 Conservative Party MPs earlier this week on a Parliamentary vote over new Covid restrictions, followed by a devastating by-election defeat for the ruling government party - which lost a seat it had held for 200 years.
