Value Partners (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Value Partners Group (“Value Partners”, “the firm”), is introducing a Founders Share Class on its new Asia ex-Japan fund with the aim of attracting institutional investors in the UK and Europe.
Following the opening of its London office in October 2016, the firm’s UK Country Head & Managing Director, European Business Hendrik von Ripperda-Cosyn has been reorganising its fund line-up to ensure it matches the expectations of investors in the UK and Europe.
‘Value Partners Asia Ex-Japan Equity Fund’ will be managed by Investment Director Man Wing Chung and feature a fundamentally driven long-only equity strategy based on high conviction stock-picking.
The fund will harness the firm’s 25–year strong proven track record in rigorous, on-the-ground fundamental research. It will sit on Value Partners’ Dublin-domiciled UCITS platform, alongside the Value Partners Global Emerging Markets Equity and Value Partners Greater China Equity funds. Ripperda-Cosyn said, “The introduction of Value Partners into London has been successful and we’re seeing a good deal of traction with institutional investors.
